Aircraft disappeared deep in the clay-ground, leaving a big crater. Photo 70198, shows this crash site 24 June 1940. Crew KIA.
First Allied burials in Amsterdam. The shattered remains were put in coffins and buried as Unknown English airmen. Not identified.
Only Kenyon was fully identified in 1946. All three exhumed, inspected and reburied in another plot.
