Shot down by a nightfighter and crashed south of IJmuiden/Velsen-zuid in a dune area named 'Duin & Kruidberg'. The Atlantic Wall was build there and the bodies of the crew were transported to Amsterdam for burial 31 March in grave 21,22,23 and 24. |

Jerzy Pietrow was buried locally or in a field grave near the wreck location. In the 1960's he was reburied in Centralisation War Cemetery Jonkerbos in Nijmegen.
