On return to England flew into the North Sea at the Dutch coast near Egmond aan Zee. MIA. |
Lt. Ludwig's wingman stated they were first shot upon by a light-Flak boat over lake IJsselmeer. Then at crossing the North Sea dunes, they were targeted again.
