As second mission of the day, search and destroy in the Zwolle - German border area. Strafed a train at Zwolle, was hit by Flak in the second pass. Capt. Williams parachuted out and came in contact with the aircraft. Helped into a house, but was severely wounded on the legs and could not walk. Arrested by Germans, POW.
