Aircraft dropped behind formation at 12:00h after the group had bombed the airfield, with no.3 and no.4 motor out, but plane was still under control. Flying low over Lake IJsselmeer (Old Zuyder Sea), the light Flak on the boats of the German Wasserschützpolizei (Waffen-SS and Water Police) finished her off and the bomber made a succesfully belly landing in the water off Enkhuizen. |
