Shot down by German Flak defending Kooy airfield. Crashed in the Wadden Sea in a tital area named Balgzand. All three initially buried Huisduinen/Den Helder and in 1947 reburied in Bergen-op-Zoom War Cemetery. |
In Bergen-op-Zoom War Cemetery they were kept together and also buried next to each other in plot 32, row B, graven 1, 2 and 3.
